Royals is definitely something Lady Macbeth would watch because it focuses a lot on manipulation, deception, and DRAMA. In the latest episode, which aired tonight. is something I think both Lady Macbeth and her husband would actually watch because the late King Simon kept manifesting himself to his tyrannical brother King Cyrus (his nephew and niece speculate that he was involved in the death of their father), but no body saw him. On the show's fictional newspaper it also questioned the sanity of the king which I think is such a direct connection to the play. Lady Macbeth would have a heavy connection with Queen Helena because she is after the crown and is willing to plot over whomever to get what she wants, she was even willing to plot against her own husband and children. She had also lost her first son just like Lady Macbeth! However, this was not due to a miscarriage, it was due to a car accident, but nonetheless this show really has a lot of similarities with Macbeth!

The Following is a great show that Lady Macbeth would watch because she would connect a whole lot with the character Joe Carroll. He was able to influence other murderers to join him and also faked his own death. This could have influenced Lady Macbeth to fake her rumored suicide in the play so she could've actually been alive this whole time... what?!?!

Breaking Bad (could connect to Walter White)

Breaking Bad is a show that speaks of chemistry genius Walter White who is diagnosed with stage III cancer. In hopes of providing his family with a stable life after his death White begins to start selling narcotics. Lady Macbeth would really be able to connect with White because throughout the production of the series we see that he is capable of controlling everyone around him with his lies, similar to Lady Macbeth who cam control anyone by questioning their position of power.



The Dark Knight

Lady Macbeth would also connect to the Joker in The Dark Knight because he manipulates his followers into committing his heinous crimes much like how Lady Macbeth did in convincing her husband to kill King Duncan. In the film The Dark Knight the Joker runs a muck throughout Gotham city by trying to kill and rob anyone that gets in his way. Lady Macbeth would commend him for these actions and try to implement these types of ideals into her husband's mind so that she can rise to power. She may not be pleased by the ending since Batman ends up saving the day, but she would choose to learn from his mistakes so that she can avoid the same fate.
